Product Description
The Black Bar Chromis (Chromis retrofasciata) are tan/yellow with a vertical black line where the body and tail meet. In nature, these chromis are found swimming within the corals.
The Black Bar Chromis does best when six or more are placed in an aquarium of 30 gallons or larger. If these chromis are house singly, they can be very aggressive. They can be kept with larger fish, but keep an eye on them to make sure their aggressive behavior doesn’t cause harm.
The Black Bar Chromis should be fed several times a day with bits of meaty marine foods, herbivore preparations, and high-quality flake or pellets.
Acclimate all new fish to ensure a smooth transition to its new aquarium.
